04
Do you feel like you need time to work on YOU?
If you answered YES to any of these questions then this class might be just what you need! It's an incredible time where you can connect with God through worship, prayer, scriptures, AND yoga! We have deep breathing and Christian meditation which can really help with stress management or mild anxiety.
What if I have no experience in Yoga?
This is the PERFECT yoga class for beginners! You don’t need any previous experience in yoga to do this class. When I first started doing yoga it was very difficult for me to relax in a class because the movements were very intense and complicated. I designed a class with simple and basic stretches that most people have done before in a gym class or a sport. There are only one or two complicated yoga moves. This can be considered beginners yoga, but experienced yogis can also benefit from these basics! This is a FULL BODY STRETCH.
Why do basic stretches?
The moves don’t have to be complicated to be considered “yoga”. I keep the stretches simple so you can RELAX and connect with God during class! This is truly relaxing yoga. I personally can’t do downward facing dog and still focus on Jesus! I’ve also designed this class to be easy on your joints! We don’t get on our knees or hands at all during this class.
How does this class help me connect with God?
Through deep breathing and relaxing music, your body can slow down so you can hear from God and focus. With prayer, worship, and bible verses, these classes are designed to help you EXPERIENCE God and truly feel Gods love! We also do a fun imagination exercise at the end where you get to go on an adventure with God and hear Him talk directly to you!
What makes this a “Christian” yoga class?
Every form of yoga usually has a spiritual aspect to it. Instead of connecting with the universe, Buddha, or another religion we use Christianity as the spiritual aspect. Some call it “Christian Yoga”, others call it “Christian Alternative to Yoga”. The way we incorporate God in our class is through meditating on the Bible, and praying to God!
